Domaine De Fa 2022 Fleurie Roche Guillon, Beaujolais

This Beaujolais is made by Maxime Graillot, the son of a famed northern Rhone producer Alain Graillot and he, like his father, is making natural, feral wines that exhibit wonderful texture and energy. Fleurie is known for producing floral wines and this offering from Graillot is all of that and more. You get violets and plums, a wild, gamey note and a good scrape of cracked black pepper. A bold and round Fleurie that wants braised, grilled and roasted foods.
