Domaine Divio 2021 Pinot Noir "Les Climats", Willamette Valley
Opulent, bold, classic elegance-
A little toasty, a little refreshing tart brightness. All followed up with just the right touch of rich, fruit-driven complexity. Cranberry, cranberry jam, ripe raspberry, and bright seasonal cherries. Like a warm throw blanket on a walk through a cool forest. Open, with a deep floral bouquet, five-spice, cedar, and fresh tea leaves.
Versatile, with a broad affinity for food. Beijing roast duck, al pastor, and herb-roasted chicken. The toasty spice and brightness let it hold up to chunkier, fattier dishes—a Duck confit, or pork belly. If not with a meal, please have a snack. It’ll make this wine sing. Perfect with Comte, Gruyère, olives, and otherwise general charcuterie. Food! Please have this wine with food, even if only a nibble.
