Domaine Gramenon 2021 Cotes-du-Rhone "Poignee de Raisins"

100% organically grown Grenache. An ex-nurse, winemaker Michele Aubery-Laurent is said to treat her vines like her old patients, gentle and kind with a head for wellness. She stepped in when her husband was tragically killed in an accident and she has stayed committed to leaving the earth better than she found it. She is so committed that they grown their own food and raise their own animals as well. Very, very low sulfur and very little intervention this is a wine of purity and freshness. Bursting with dark fruit, full of energy in the glass with some playful earthiness too. I prefer this juicy red with just a slight chill and it's gorgeous with red meats, hearty stews or braised dishes and I even love it with burgers or a Wednesday night pizza.
