Domaine Maurice Charleux & Fils 2022 Bourgogne, Burgundy

I admit that I was taken aback when I heard the price of this pretty little Burgundian Pinot Noir. Just screamed classic, from red fruit to whispers of flowering herbs, to earth and firm acidity. Light weight in the mouth with some nicely saturated red fruit and hints of mushroom. That sexy balance of savory and fruit forward here and light enough to go from meat to hearty fish or game dishes.
