Domaine Nicolas Rossignol 2022 Pommard "Les Noizons", Burgundy

Nicolas Rossignol believes that even though it is not, this Les Noizons is on par with his 1er Cru wines. Made from several plots, all in rich deep, red soils giving this wine fullness and extra bump of forward fruit. Big shoulders, dark fruit, by Burgundy standards, with a density that lets you know this wine will age for many years. Is it classic? Well, I would say it has classic aromas that are amped up and flavors that are buffed out to afford us a luxurious wine. I’ll gladly take that.
