Domaine Vincent Dampt 2020 Chablis Premier Cru "Vaillons" Burgundy

The vines for this premier cru Chablis are over 40 years old, this gives the wine some extra depth and concentration. Not terribly explosive on the nose, stone fruit, minerals, a tiny hint of tarragon but it is on the palate that the wine shows its pedigree. Weighty, rich, not oaky but silky and densely packed. Stone fruits in citrus oil with some white flowers and salty limestone notes. Drinking fabulous now but will hold up for a good 5-6 years in the cellar.
