Famille Gonnet 2024 Cotes-Du-Rhone "Les Promesses" Blanc, Rhone

The Gonnet family name traces back in the southern Rhone to the 1600s and have remained a family owned company since the inception of the vines being planted. Certified organic this tropical white is going to be one of my go-to whites to fill that all purpose niche. Made from Grenache Blanc, Clairette and Viognier this is a tropical little number that just brings it with pleasure. Quite tropical, mango, melon, touch of pear and pineapple. Bit more balancing green flavors, lovely ripeness in the mouth but with great acidity. Think cured meats, grilled fishes, chicken, salads with punchy dressing, grilled veggies or simply sitting around sipping. Only 2,500 cases made.
