Fractura 2024 Syrah, Valle de San Vicente, Mexico

Earthy on the nose, strong notes of mushroom and forest floor. On the palate, while there are notes of mushrooms and forest, they are much lighter than the aromatics would lead you to believe. Just a hint of VA brings a brightness to the wine and pulls out notes of green olive. There is some soft blueberry fruit that adds a coating mouthfeel that you might not expect from a wine with such light fruit. More savory than a fruity wine.
