The Merlot in this wine was grown in Sonoma, the Grenache was grown by the fine folks at Frenchtown Farms.
Description
On the nose, there are notes of mushrooms and barn yard. On the palate, hints of mushrooms lead to vegetal notes of green pepper. Rich notes of boysenberry soften the palate before medium tannins dry up the tastebuds. On the finish you get more mushrooms, green pepper and red plums.
