Gaja Ca'Marcanda 2021 Promis Toscana Rosso, Tuscany

Ca’Marcanda, GAJA’s estate in Bolgheri was born in 1996 propelled by Angelo Gaja’s ambition to challenge himself with Bordeaux grape varieties. Coming from a classic Bolgheri vintage, Promis shows a bright, ruby-red color. The nose has hints of spice such as cinnamon and star anise along with pronounced red and black fruits. The tannins are juicy and persistent.  The wines of the 2021 vintage have a classic, Bolgheri style; they are generous wines with powerful, round tannins and ripe, intense fruit.

55% Merlot, 35% Syrah, 10% Sangiovese
