Giovanni Almondo 2023 Roero Arneis Vigne Sparse, Piedmont

Giovanni Almondo is known for producing some of the best Arneis wines in Piedmont, dedicating some of his highest elevation vineyards to the finicky white grape.  This medium bodied wine has gorgeous aromas of citrus flowers and stone fruits and zesty flavors of ripe pears, lemon zest and apricots.  It’s bright and persistent with a slightly nutty finish.  Classic Arneis!
