Goisot 2022 Bourgogne Aligote, Burgundy

 Aligote is getting loads more attention these days and we are thrilled about that. At one time Aligote was so thin and high in acid that people would add cassis liqueur to it to make it more palatable, but these days, with increasing temperatures, the wines are now not only palatable sans additions, they are downright delicious. This vintage gives me a nearly feral aromatic, like wild flowering chives, lime rind, crushed white stones, and just a bit of brine. The acidity is so racy it made my gums tingle and started to make me hungry. Drink with anything you would squeeze fresh lemon on.
