The vines for this Chenin Blanc were planted in 1983. This vintage was foot treaded for skin contact and was fermented in cask and large barrels on lees for 12 months.
Description
A rich coating mouthfeel leads to notes of honey dipped apples, melon and orange blossom. There is noticeable acidity that anchors the wine, giving it a backbone to keep the fruit in balance.
