Izadi 2018 Rioja Reserva, Spain

Izadi is a relatively newer producer in Rioja Alavesa founding Izadi in 1987.   Their style is a mix of modern and traditional producing plush, refined and elegant wines that still stay true to Rioja.  Their Reserva is medium + bodied with ripe black and dark red fruits.  Fifteen months of oak aging adds plenty of spice, light notes of vanilla and a nice tannic structure.
