Description
Chateauneuf-du-Pape is the queen of Southern Rhone wines, and Le Vieux Donjon's 2020 version has a richness in aroma and in the mouth with a roasted coffee aspect. Sporting an elegant, viscous appearance that suggests the powerful wine to come, it is a big one (at 15% alcohol), with some heat in the finish that we'll be getting used to.
