Marcel Lapierre 2023 Raisins Gaulois, Vin de France

This wine is designed for fun, and boy, do we need more of it.  Younger vine fruit goes into this wine, which shouldn't be judged for a profundity, but for deliciousness and pleasurability.  According to Neal Martin in Vinous, there is an aroma of Morello cherry and strawberry pastilles followed by a medium-bodied palate with a fleshy entry and fine acidity.  We'd add that a chub of salami and some fine cheese is all you need to complete your celebration!
