Has that telltale wild spice and lychee that Gewurztraminer is known for, but in a more focused and precise way. As the wine opens in the glass it keeps evolving, exposing yet another stunning layer to explore. The texture here is thrilling, that sexy line between just enough and too much. I want this with stinky, gooey cheeses, spiced meats, like pastrami or corned beef, sausages, salami or Indian food that is not too spicy, as in hot spice, but heavily seasoned. Noble. This is a very noble expression of Alsatian Gewurztraminer.
