Nicole Chanrion 2024 Cote de Brouilly, Beaujolais

We’ve been offering this producer since our founding (when we can get it!), and the 2020.  I recall drinking this out of magnum a few decades ago with a smoked pork loin and thought I’d found the perfect wine on the planet.  The nose has some familiar herbal notes, and in the mouth, it has a silky texture and a flavorful expression of its terroir.  Grapey at first, then showing off flavors of crushed berries ending with a firm finish.  Another very good wine.
