Olianas’ Cannonau is medium bodied, vibrant, and packed with red plum and berry fruits. There is a great purity of fruit here with only a small amount of the wine seeing oak to smooth out the wine.
Description
Cannonau is Sardinia’s most planted red grape and grown all over the island. Cannonau is the Sardinian name for Grenache and every proud Sardinian will tell you that the grape originated in Sardinia, not in Spain and recent DNA tests have helped prove this theory.
