Patrick Piuze 2022 Chablis "Terroir de Courgis", Burgundy

No question that Patrick Piuze is one of our most beloved Chablis producers. He has not only charmed us with his wines, he has received me at this winery on multiple occasions and has even done a couple events here at The Wine Country. The man is like a lightening bolt of energy and his wines are exactly the same way. Pure, intense, focused and obsessed with showing the true flavor of Chablis, the message from the man and the wines. The “taste of Courgis” comes from one vineyard that is located on the left bank of Chablis. I always find this wine ready to drink young, though if you can trust yourself to hold onto a few bottles it will age as well. I always say that tasting this wine is like putting your tongue on a 9 volt battery, gives you that little tingle and shock. Gloriously racy Chablis that gives you a little nibble back.
