Firm Cherry fruit rides above an intense flow of heady richness. Pretty red fruit delves deep into lusher, darker notes of anise, pine, menthol and vanilla. This wine was aged for 22 month in neutral large Ermitage 500L French Oak Puncheons.
Description
Tom Stolpman planted the original 10 acres of Sangiovese in 1994, today they have about 21 acres of Sangiovese planted on the property, being it is the most popular wine they make by far not only in the tasting room but all over California. They had to start limiting out of state distribution to make sure they had enough!
