100% Syrah, half of which was fermented in whole clusters, the grape skins were fermented with the juice for 7 days and the wine was aged for 8-10 months in a combination of concrete, stainless steel, and ceramic containers.
Description
Starting off dry with soft tannins and savory white pepper, your palate is ready for some weight, and it comes in the form of floral violets and rich notes of figs. There is also a flavor similar to roasted cherries that adds to the depth of the wine. It finishes almost exactly how it starts, with soft white pepper drying the palate.
