Thacher 2024 Cinsaut Rose, Monterey

It is not too often that I take a late season new addition to our Rose department, especially a domestic one as those have been historically slower to sell than their French counterparts, but this splashy pink wine fills a definite niche, so I had to grab some. Made from 93% Cinsault and 7% Muscat Canneli this flirty number clocks in at only 10.4% abv! How could I not love that?! Light, ultra fruity, but not sweet, this is a wine for afternoon sipping, spicy foods, burgers, hot dogs, tacos and just about anything that could use a little splash of fruit and acidity. So fun and only 328 cases made.
