Description
Pierre Girardin is the 13th generation to make wine under the Girardin name. Young Pierre took over in 2017, at 21 years old and within two vintages had already made a name for himself. He grew up in his fathers cellar, Burgundy runs through his veins and it shows. Les Grands Epenots is one of the top two 1er Crus in Pommard and the 50 year old vines Pierre uses are farmed organically. He used 100% new oak on this cuvee and what you get is a mouth coating, rich, luscious, powerhouse of a Burgundy. Massive, creamy, busting with curves and finishes with a noble grip.
The Wine Country.
