Vincent Roussely 2023 "L'Escale" Sauvignon Blanc, Loire Valley

Vincent represents the 4^th generation in is family to be vine growers in Loire Valley’s Touraine. Vincent took over in 2001 and began converting all the family’s holdings to organic farming. We have stocked a couple previous vintages of this L’Escale but I think this vintage is the best we have had thus far. Plump with tropical fruit, mango, guava, pomello and pineapple all woven in between layers of sweet lemon and fresh cut grass. This is all about refreshing Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc but with a bit more luscious weight and body. Drinks like Sancerre with more stuffing, and for half the price.
