Gabin et Felix Richous 2021 Irancy, Bourgogne

A few years ago I had never even heard of Irancy and now we are starting to see quite a few producers from this tiny region. Tucked just south west of Chablis, and with soils very similar, there is a distinct seashell and limestone aroma that just adds more charm to this already charming wine. Nice flint, crunchy red berries, smoke and slight green, flower shop like notes. Light but plenty of stuffing here making it a wonderful partner to fish, simple roasted pork or beef dishes.
