Francois Chidaine 2024 Touraine Sauvignon, Loire Valley

One of our store’s greatest values from a Loire Valley master.  Estate grown grapes, hand harvested, indigenous yeast fermented, organically grown grapes all result in a classic-styled Loire valley sauvignon from the master of Montlouis and Vouvray, François Chidaine.  Produced entirely from Chidaine’s biodynamically farmed vineyards around the villages of Montrichard & Chissay-en-Touraine, just north of the Cher river.  Minerals and citrus are packed into this beauty that shows surprising length and complexity for the appellation.  A great alternative to Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé at a much lower price.
