Vibrant notes of apple and pear up front lead to a subtle salinity. There is a little bit of texture on the mid-palate that reminds me of what it’s like to bite into an apple, the light tannins of apple skins. Hints of white flowers on the finish.
Description
Made by Winemaker Thomas from Domaine Blard et Fils, this is a blend of 98% Jacquere and 2% Altesse. The grapes were aged on the lees for 6 months in a combination of amphora and stainless steel.
