Michael Frank arrived at The Wine Country after extensive experience in the wine and spirits business, which has given him exceptional insights into this far-ranging field. Just as important, his dedication to customer experience is paramount.

A native of Newport Beach, California, Michael attended the Art Institute of Orange County where he majored in Media Arts and Animation. After graduation he worked as a key animator for various studios in Los Angeles.

But his career path was about to take a dramatic turn.

During this time the wine bug bit Michael in a profound way; soon he would change careers, gaining experience working for two prominent retail wine and spirits stores in Orange County.

Later, Michael had stints working in the wholesale wine and spirits business, culminating in exporting wine abroad.

When he isn’t studying more about wine, Michael’s passion is surfing, and you just may find him at the Seal Beach jetty avoiding the sting rays that hang out in the warm water there.

After first meeting Michael, his knowledge and passion for fine wine becomes immediately apparent, and we are lucky to have him as a department head at The Wine Country.
