Thanksgiving 2025 Staff Picks

Well, it’s that time of year again. Hard to believe how fast it comes around. We’re ready to help you set the Thanksgiving table with staff picks that cover a wide range of tastes and preferences!

Beaujolais has always been a classic pairing for Thanksgiving dinner. You can browse the collection here: Beaujolais Collection. Randy also wrote an excellent blog on the region with his personal recommendations: Read Randy’s Beaujolais Blog.

Riesling is another one of Randy’s go-to pairings thanks to its versatility with spice, sweetness, and even gamey dishes. Explore our German Riesling selection here: German Riesling Collection.

And as always, stop by in-store for personalized pairing advice to keep your Thanksgiving as stress-free as possible.

Kevin — Buyer for Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Austria, Central Europe, Kosher Wine & Mediterranean Wines

Monchhof Estate Riesling

It’s not too dry, which is perfect because if there’s any sweetness on your plate at Thanksgiving, Riesling can come off too tart. But some of our Estate and any of our Kabinett or Spätlese wines would be wonderful on your Thanksgiving table.

Randy — Owner & Founder

Champalou Vouvray Fondraux

The Vouvray has a subtle kiss of fruitiness to its luxurious texture. Crystalline Chenin Blanc from a special family of grape growers. Very good with turkey, especially if the condiments (yams, fruit salads, cornbread stuffing) have a little sweetness in them.

Balivet Bugey-Cerdon Sparkling

The Bugey Cerdon is a little-known sparkling wine specialty located between Burgundy and the Alps. The grape is Gamay, and a little fruitiness is left in the light red-colored wine, providing a delicious and delightfully light counterpart to a very heavy meal.
