Boccadigabbia 2019 'Saltapicchio' Sangiovese, Marche Italy

It’s not that common to find 100% Sangiovese wines produced in the Marche region of Italy as it’s mostly used as a blending grape in their Montepulciano wines.  When you taste this stylish Sangiovese you’ll see why they decided to bottle it on its own.  It first grabs you with its floral and herbal aromatics and dark garnet color. On the palate it’s powerful and structured in the most elegant, polished way with the beautiful red cherry fruit taking center stage.
