A blend of 50% Sangiovese, 33% Aglianico and 17% Barbera, would you be surprised to find out that this went through carbonic maceration? If so, you didn’t read the name of the wine.
Description
This has a classic chillable red wine profile, candied cherries and notes of black plums. There is a savory tomato leaf component that breaks up the fruitiness for a bit, more of the cherry fruit comes out on the finish, but less candied, more cherry compote like in flavor.
