You'll love this light-bodied, fruity Pinot Noir from the Languedoc. No, it's not Burgundy, but it does possess plenty of red fruits and charm.
Description
The vineyards near the medieval walled city of Carcassonne are the source of this delightful Pinot Noir. Everything about this wine, from its handsome label to its excellent value screamed “Wine of the Month” to me. The pleasant aroma of this light-to-medium weighted wine suggests red fruits, as does the flavor. Light tannins bring up the rear. It is a custom project from Jean-Christophe and Margaret Calvet of Aquitaine Imports.
