This falls into a brilliant food wine category for its ample weight is giving it shoulders for richer foods to fall upon and its dry, crisp finish works well with lighter dishes and summer fresh salads. Load up, we bought all they had!
Description
Pascal Biotteau is the 4th generation to work the family vineyards. Here we have an average vine age of 25 years, grown in an area that separates the volcanic schist soils of the east and the chalky limestone soils of the west, giving us perfectly balanced Chenin Blanc. Beautifully full on the palate, curvy and plump, dripping with ripe succulent pears and notes of spice but then the playful energy and mineral notes come blazing in leaving the palate vibrating with freshness and longing for another sip. This falls into a brilliant food wine category for its ample weight is giving it shoulders for richer foods to fall upon and its dry, crisp finish works well with lighter dishes and summer fresh salads. Load up, we bought all they had!
