Albert Mann 2022 Gewurztraminer Vin D'Alsace, Alsace

When we first put our nose in the glass, there was a smile of recognition.  “Alsace Gewürztraminer!  It can’t be anything else!”  Call it lychee. This round, plush wine is medium-dry on the palate.

The Albert Mann estate was founded in 1664 and is still owned by the Berthelmé family.  In 1997 the family’s vineyards were certified biodynamic, and all their wines use native yeast in their fermentations.  This wine comes from different vineyards, including young vines from Grand Cru sites.
