Brown Estate 2022 "Chaos Theory" Red Wine, Napa Valley

Brown Estate has quietly been offering this wonderful blend for several years now, and it has flown under most people's radar, but shouldn't.  Made up of 60% Zinfandel, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petite Sirah and aged 12 months in 50% French and 50% American oak barrels, 25% new.  In terms of pure deliciousness, it ranks right up there.  Pick your description:  blackberries, anise, cracked pepper.  In the mouth, Chaos Theory is not chaotic at all; instead, it is an ordered, masterfully structured and brilliantly executed red wine that deserves to be on your table next time you are craving lamb, beef, or cheeses.  A terrific wine.
