Cantele 2025 Negroamaro Rose, Italy

“Rohesia” means rose (the flower, not the wine) in old French and early English vernacular.  So how did the word get to Southern Italy’s Puglia region?  Let’s just say this soft, generous, pink seductress is sure to charm you away from all your other vices.  Round and generous in the mouth, with just enough acidity in the background to give the wine its support.  Rohesia, made entirely of Negroamaro, will make a dreamy aperitif all summer long.  It’s a great way to get re-acquainted with the impressive Cantele estate again.
