Cantina della Pioppa is a cooperative established in 2012 with 200 growers contributing.  When I first encountered this wine, the playful label prepared me for the wine inside, a Lambrusco that should have a wide appeal with our customers.  Farmed biodynamically, the fruit is as playful as the label, starting with minerally aromas and flavors following through to its tangy-tart, lip-smacking finish.  This is simply fun to drink.
