Chateau de Campuget "1753" 2025 IGP Gard Syrah Vermentino Rose

This bottling is more of a luxury cuvée, composed of 80% Syrah and 20% Vermentino.  When I asked owner Franck-Lin Dalle the significance of “1753”, he told me that an old document with that date mentioned Campuget.  Deep roots!  The elegant 2025 has a rounder texture than the estate’s “Tradition” bottling, yet it is equally easy to drink, with a crisp middle range and notes of tropical fruit buried in the refreshing flavor.
