Chateau Gassier 2025 Cotes De Provence Rosé "Esprit Gassier"

Maison Gassier is located near Puyloubier, a small town east of Aix-en-Provence and about an hour’s drive north of Bandol tucked just below some imposing hills to the north in the prestigious Saint-Victoire region.  The house was founded in 1982, and by the looks of it, they have really hit their stride, producing some of the most exciting wines in Provence.  Last year we were introduced to Gassier with its spectacular rosé which became one of our top-selling wines of the year.  And the bottle, with its embossed floral pattern, became its calling card.

This year, the importer introduced us to its 2025 vintage, another strikingly beautiful wine, but eek!  They changed the bottle!  How will people know this is the newest vintage of one of our super-successful hits of last year?  The unique six-sided bottle for 2025 holds the same high-caliber wine, perhaps with a little less sweetness.  Don’t let the light pink color fool you.  This is a substantial rosé.  Richly flavored, full in the mouth and satisfying, this blend of Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault and Vermentino comes from grapes grown at a higher elevation.  Round texture gives it a sense of luxuriousness.  Another winner this year
