Chateau Pedesclaux 2022 Pauillac "Fleur De Pedesclaux", Bordeaux

This is the second label of the 5^th growth Pauillac Chateau Pédesclaux, and it’s quite an impressive showing.  With a gorgeous ruby appearance and a viscous body, it just looks rich.  Deep aromas set you up for a medium-to-full bodied flavor that suggests cassis.  Made from the estate’s younger vines (30 years!), and containing 49% Merlot, one cannot help being impressed, especially for the money.
