Chateau Saint-Andre Corbin 2023 Saint-Georges Saint-Emilion, Bordeaux

The Saby family has created a wonderful right-bank red Bordeaux from this Saint-Emilion satellite region, comprised of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc from 55-60 year old vines.  Loaded with generous amounts of fruit, this densely flavored wine has hints of licorice followed by a healthy dose of tannins in the finish.  This is a lot of wine for the money.
