Chateau Tour Maillet 2022 Pomerol, Bordeaux

This modern version of Pomerol takes ripeness right up to the edge.  With a dark garnet color and a rich viscous appearance, you would think the wine is much more expensive than it is.  This is a full-flavored red wine with a softer middle and a tannic grip in the finish.  Possessing a mouth-filling texture, yet the wine manages to be balanced despite its generous alcohol content.  100% Merlot.
