Condat La Chapelle 2022 Saint-Emilion, Bordeaux

Made from 70% Merlot and 15% each Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Such a generous wine, right upfront with dark, blackish fruit, tobacco, some slight black cherry and plenty of balancing earth. Good grip on the finish too. Ready for a bowl of stewed meat, hearty mushroom or duck, even a good old fashioned steak from the grill. Easy drinking and affordable as heck.
