Demiere-Ansiot N.V. Champagne Grand Cru Blancs de Blancs Brut

Demière-Ansiot is a small 3.5-hectare estate located in the Grand Cru village of Oger. Currently managed by fourth-generation winemaker Nicolas Demière, the Domaine owns 19 parcels averaging 40 years of age, all of which are Grand Cru Chardonnay.  About 40% of the vineyards are optimally situated on the slopes of Oger with an ideal southeast aspect; the remaining parcels benefit from an eastern orientation on soil characterized with outcroppings of chalk.  The Domaine employs organic practices.  The wine aged sur lie for 6 years before disgorgement.  The flavor reveals a vibrant melange of apples, pears and chalky mineral tones, leesy notes of warm biscuits with a gorgeous texture. A full-bodied, sophisticated Champagne with vibrant acidity and incredible length.
