Dezat 2025 Sancerre, Loire Valley

The Dezat family is one of the oldest wine-growing families in Sancerre, with references to the family dating as far back as 1550.  Today Firmin Dezat is the 18th generation to grow grapes and make wine on the land of his ancestors.  Pale yellow color with green tinges and aromatics of white flowers and citrus.  Loads of minerals and citrus backed by bright acidity make this persistent, tense wine perfect for most anything, but especially fish and goat cheese.
