Domaine Audebert 2025 Bourgueil Rose, Loire Valley France

Northern rosés—those grown in Continental climates rather than Mediterranean ones—are just different, and they accompany different foods (i.e., those not made with olive oil).  A classic example is the Bourgueil rosé, made entirely of Cabernet Franc, more suitable with turkey, beef and things cooked in butter.  Showing off a pretty salmon pink color, it is a dry, firm, substantial wine with a finish that reminded me of a Sweet-Tart.
