Domaine de la Chanteleuserie 2024 Bourgueil Cabernet Franc "Cuvee Beauvais", Loire Valley

Most years you will find the companion bottling “Alouette” at The Wine Country, a charming, affordable Cabernet Franc from younger vines.  Cuvée Beauvais is its older brother, made from vines grown high on a hillside vineyard (cuvée beauvais translates to “beautiful view”).  This is simply a sumptuous beauty, from the blissful floral aromas to the richly flavored blend of black fruit and earth in perfect balance.  I love both wines, particularly this one because of its easy-going depth.
