Domaine De Pallus 2021 Chinon Cabernet Franc "Les Pensees de Pallus", Loire Valley

This is about as pretty a Cabernet Franc as there can be, more in the soul of Burgundy than the typical earthy black notes you usually get from reds from the region.  A light ruby color greets you followed by an elegant aroma and flavor of red fruits.  Les Pensées de Pallus is the flagship wine of this estate, located in the southwest-facing hills facing the Vienne river.  It is owner Bertrand Sourdais’ vision of a classic Chinon.
