Description
This Chardonnay is from the higher part of the En Neget vineyard and is indeed a premier cru, unlike the lower part which is planted to Pinot Noir. At first contact the additional pedigree is obvious. It has a wonderful aroma, a plush, luxurious mouthfeel, and a terrific minerally finish that persists. Echoes of Corton Charlemagne, perhaps?
